The proprietor of HT Consultants is Hugh Tyrer. He has been involved in Accident and Incident investigation since the nineteen forties and was one of the first to examine fractures at high magnification during investigations of aircraft accidents and incidents (see images below). The first of the very large number of types of aircraft he has been concerned with was the Vickers Wellington. Since then, the types of equipment investigated have ranged from surgical implants and musical instruments through to mining equipment, racing and road cars, manufacturing machinery, chemical handling plant, waste disposal facilities to electrical conducting systems and machinery to name but a few. He has travelled extensively and lectured on a wide range of subjects related to his work. He also functions as an expert witness should this be required. His CV can be seen here.
