Historically
speaking, HT Consultants has its roots in the aircraft industry
and this provided the wide range of expertise necessary for
its current activities. New materials and processes are developed
in such industries and in parallel with them experience in the
in-service behaviour and economic acceptability of the resulting
products accumulates fast. This requires the fast response to
solving problems that we specialise in and we cover fracture
mechanism in all material types, advice on inspection methods
to provide users with procedures to determine the extent of
any problem in similar equipment, and an expert witness service
should responsibility for resulting loss etc. be in question.
